HEADLINES: 19.2.2008 Insert Remedy is now officially on hiatus. We have decided to cancel all of our upcoming gigs from in front of re-creating completely new material in peace. This spring will be a time of concentration and retreat for the band. As a group of artists never trying to live by the expectations of others we feel no problem in giving ourselves all the time needed to bring forth the next grandest vision of ourselves.Also, we've decided to close the pages of Harmony Between Opposites. They're being dramatically renovated and will open up again when ready. There will, however be some updates on this site, so do check in every once in a while. That's all for now. NO RETREAT, NO SURRENDER WHEN FACED BY DICTATORS OF DARKNESS 19.11.07 SAKU ENDING HIS PRESCRIPTION We have once again entered full on into a state of constant change. This time the reason isn't so pleasant.Ladies and gentlemen, one of our founding members and true dynamos, guitarist Saku Schildt has decided to part ways with the rest of Insert Remedy. His personal goobye's can be read in Finnish from here . To cut it short - no time, lack of motivation, a need to re-evaluate everything in nothing. With uttermost respect for his decision we bid him farewell. This leaves Insert Remedy in a sort of shock which will inevitably clear in due time from in front of a fresh, enthusiastic, new approach to our re-creating reality. We've decided, however to cancel our next gig in Tampere. It just wouldn't feel right. For the time being we won't be looking for a replacement. Instead, as the year changes and brings forth all the myriads of possibilities of a new beginning, we'll start experimenting with some different instrumental variations possible to the four of us. Only time will tell what will become of it all, but one thing is for sure. The noble mission of expanding the boundaries of musical expression will continue to grow with an ever flaring, intense fervour! Anything is possible.
